STREAMSS Curriculum Reading-to-Research Pathway Badge – Foundations (K–2)
“Earn, Learn, and Celebrate Every Step.”
The Reading-to-Research Badge (Foundations K–2) celebrates a child’s earliest milestones in literacy within the STREAMSS Curriculum Pathway. Designed in the Pink Desert theme, this badge features an open book set against pastel sands and turquoise skies, symbolizing how reading builds the foundation for curiosity, understanding, and future research skills.
At the Foundations level, reading is not about formal research. It is about learning how to engage with text, ask simple questions, and build confidence as a reader, skills that later evolve into research, analysis, and inquiry.
